I’ve written about Ash before, about my nose-pressed-to-the-glass moment in NYC and the consequent purchase thereafter. I love those shoes and I’ve bought another pair since then. This funki-fresh pair went with me to Paris:
I’ve also been ogling the new high wedge sneakers and wanted to buy a pair, but I restrained myself. The biggest shoe selection that I have ever seen was in a Paris department store and I figured if anyone had Ash wedge sneakers, they would. I’m glad I waited because is what greeted me when I got off the escalator in Printemps:
I almost fell to my knees, I was so happy. I know that I yelped and there may have been twirling involved. Ash shoes surrounded me at every turn! I was in shoe heaven.
Once I was back at home, I wore them with a pair of skinny jeans and a tank top. I like that I am wearing sneakers and heels at the same time! Genius.

jeans – Hudson, Nordstrom
shoes – Ash, Printemps, Paris
I’m obsessed with Ash. No, this won’t be my last pair – not at all!
