City of Angels, Hollywood” -Bootsy Collins, Hollywood Squares
Tomorrow morning we going back to where it all began: to where my honey and I met, married and had our first child. No, we’re not going forever (not yet anyway); just for a few weeks while hubby works his magic with a hot new LA client. The kids and I are going to keep him company and get our Hollywood swerve on. We’ve been back a few times since we moved 15 years ago and we always have a blast visiting our friends and old stomping grounds. The beach, the sun, Fred Segal–it’s going to be a blast.
Here are some photos from our last family trip: Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice, Getty Museum, UCLA, Disneyland, Newport Beach, Balboa Island–we had a ball.
Stuart will be staying at our house watching Chili Dawg while we’re gone. Y’all know Stu, right? If you don’t follow him on Twitter, please do and tweet him every so often: “How’s Chili Dawg? Are you taking good care of him?” I’m going to miss my Chili baby!
But we’re going to have fun in LA. I’m ready. I hope LA is ready for me!

Yup, Debbie, we are living here for a bit. But the kids and I get out and do something everyday, so we’re having a pretty full experience. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see my husband very much as he is working very hard. But at least we are here with him!
