I’ve been waiting for weeks while it was on back-order at the Apple Store, compulsively checking my email, but yesterday I finally received this:
I still have to sync it to my MacBook, add some apps and do all kinds of things to make it mine, but isn’t it lovely?

Well congratulations. I’m still debating what I would use it for that I already use my laptop for. I just don’t see me needing one. Maybe I should just go to the store and do a test drive.

I plan to use it like a “big iPhone.” Sometimes I don’t feel like lugging out my laptop (which represents work to me), so I would use my iPhone to surf the web, go on Twitter, Facebook, etc, but it was so small that it was hard to do. And when I’m at blogging things and don’t want to use my laptop, I can use my iPad. Also, I plan to use the e-reader and buy books to read. I’ll let you know how it goes!

Sweet! I FINALLY bought an iPod touch this weekend but I’m not to sure about using an iPad yet. I’m waiting to see what all you lovely people have to say.

I wish you lived closer. Why? I mean besides the fact that we’d have lots of fun together? Because I just. don’t. get. the iPad thing. Don’t get it. I wish someone would show it to me so that I could grasp what all the fuss is about…

Check back with me in a few months. I plan to use it like a “big iPhone” and when I said that to the guy in the Apple store, he agreed. Sometimes when I just want to surf around or read something online or the blogs on my Google Reader, I don’t want to open my laptop because to me it means “work.” Oh, and the Kindle app is awesome. I have already loaded a book on there for my plane ride to Orlando.
