LOL…Akilah it wasn’t funny when it happened, but it is funny reading it because really, I was quite crazy during that time and it did come across in my post! You know how during childbirth your husband or someone is asking you “Are you okay? Do you need anything?” and you just want them to leave you alone so you can just deal with the pain?–it was like that. Funny in retrospect/when you are telling your birth story, but not funny in the moment when you want to yell “Shut up so I can concentrate!” LOL

It would have made a great movie short.

I’m relatively certain this post wasn’t meant to be funny, but it SO was! I read it to my husband, b/c when you said “My husband looks concerned and asks me if I’m okay. I tell him to stop talking to me; I need to concentrate,” I laughed so hard, I can’t even tell you!!

Okay, but seriously, phobias/triggers can be serious show-stoppers, and I know because my fear of lizards almost caused me to push my grandfather into a gate (and he was in a wheelchair — don’t tell anyone!) when one jumped onto my hand!

This was a well-written (and hilarious) post – thanks for sharing!

You have to ride next time Christie! Once I got past the claustrophobic line, it was sooooo fun; I think this is my favorite roller coaster after Expedition to Everest. Yes, Mama Kat’s Writer’s Workshop is great…you should do it; the writing prompts make me write about things that I never thought of and I get to read how other people answer as well. Okay totally hating on you for getting to ride Aerosmith! I’ve been to Disney TWICE without getting to ride it and I’m starting to get pissed! I’m on a mission! Hell bent I tell you! This was great! I may have to jump on this Writing Workshop bandwagon! Thanks for sharing
