Oh No He Didn’t!

So The Boy was getting dressed on School Picture Day and had on a ratty tee shirt.  I told him to change shirts and that was the start of an argument because he thought he looked just fine.  I pointed out that I only buy these photos every year for the grandparents, so could he please look somewhat respectable?  Finally we agreed on a tee that wasn’t faded, stained or torn.   I was happy with our compromise.   That is, until he brought home this photograph:

In case you don’t recognize the look, it’s Ralph Macchio in The Karate Kid, my son’s favorite movie.

The headband was not part of our plan!  He must have stuffed that in his backpack when my back was turned.  After all that discussion about the tee shirt…..ARRGH!!

The thing is, really, that’s the best school photo that he has ever taken.

kids will be kids I guess. He has to live with that pic till the next school pic. It is a great photo though

This is the best photo because he allowed his true personality to shine through.

Ha kids are a hot mess! My daughter came home with pics with her hair standing all over her head like she had recess right before pics, I dont know why they let kids look a hot mess in pics. I just told her to take them back to school. I was upset lol. Your son looks really kewl!

Love the pic AND the headband! lol

This is why I love this kid. He’s so cool, I love it! Only he could get away with this. It’s a great picture as well. :-)

LOL! I love it! Aww, come on mom … it’s too cute. Can’t wait to hear what the grandparents say.

LOL—that’s a good one!

He’s happy! The pure joy in his eyes is the kicker. Thank you for sharing! xoxo
