There’s a note going around on Facebook, “25 Random Facts About Me”, where people tag you to read their 25 random facts and then you are supposed to in turn write 25 facts about yourself.  I liked reading about my friends and definitely found out things that I didn’t know before.  Well, I figured that I needed more room than Facebook allowed, so why not bring it on home where I can get really funki?  Get ready to find out more than you ever wanted to know about Funkidivagirl.

#2  I have toys in my home office.  And they’re all mine.

I would say that they are only for display, but that’s not true.  Sometimes I play with them when I am bored or have writer’s block or just want a good laugh.   Let’s see, there’s Austin Powers, Van Gogh (he has another head too with a bandaged ear), Wonder Woman, Shakespeare, and 3 Loony Tunes characters dressed like superheroes.  I got them from Happy Meals (long before I had kids) and they are so cool; their suits snap on and off.   I’ve blogged about my most obscure toy, Electra Woman, already.  

The Pez dispensers are not technically toys, but I like that these are two different Batmans, old school and new school.  I’ve had the blue one for a long time and my son saw that it is actually worth some money on Ebay.  I got the Obama action figure before the election and of course now that he is The President of The United States, it is even more fantastic.  

I have Storm from The X-Men, Brandy, Beyonce and Serena Williams dolls still in their original packages in storage; I’m not sure about bringing them out to play yet.

My kids know that they can gently play with the toys as long as they put them back properly.  I know if anyone moves them around and the housecleaners are not allowed to clean them.  I’m actually a little bit kooky about it.
